Classic Jerseys Collection of Golden State Warriors
- 2021-22 classic edition / Origins jersey
The Warriors Origins jersey is a modern-era spin on the team’s 1961-62 road uniform, the 16th and final season that the team played in Philadelphia prior to the team’s move to the West Coast the following season. Warriors Origins celebrates the team’s 16-year tenure in Philadelphia, which included a pair of NBA championships (1947 & 1956) and included several individual league records that still stand to this day—highlighted by Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game on March 2, 1962 vs. the New York Knicks.
2. 2009-10
The “Classic Edition” jersey features “WARRIORS” in blue letters against a orange background with black, yellow and white trim around the neck and arm openings. The “We Believe” set, named for team’s improbable run to clinch a playoff spot in 2007, at the time their first in 13 years, was originally adopted by the Warriors ten years earlier during the Summer of ’97 and featured ancient mythology imagery, a god wielding a lightning bolt as the primary logo. The uniform underwent a bit of a re-design for the 2002-03 season. Some changes to the original design, but all to bring the uniform into 2019. The jersey included the Nike swoosh and the advertisement patch, the NBA logo placed on the back above the player name. Of course, during its original run it had only the NBA logo in the upper corner.

4. 1986-88 road Jersey
The Classic Edition uniform features elements similar to the uniforms worn by the Warriors during the mid 80’s (1983-84 through 1987-88), including a white color base with similar font and logo worn most famously in Sleepy Floyd’s “Superman” playoff performance against the Los Angeles Lakers.
5. 2018-19 throwback hardWood classic jersey
This classic jersey designed by the team’s larger-than-life owner Franklin Mieuli in 1966-67, The City Classic Edition includes a pair of iconic San Francisco symbols, featuring the Golden Gate Bridge on the front and a cable car on the back of the yellow jersey. The Warriors have worn the throwback several times since the team’s last season in San Francisco in 1970-71, most recently donning the yellow jersey during the 2015-16 campaign.

7. 2018-19 Classic City Uniform
These familiar blue and gold uniforms are updated versions of ones that were first worn more than half a century ago, a set that ranks as one of the most distinctive looks in sports history. The fronts of the jerseys featured a large circle, a stylized Golden Gate bridge nestled within, player number notched in atop the bridge. There are abstract waves underneath said bridge. Arcing around the top perimeter of the circle is “The CITY,” a novel identifier for the City by the Bay’s NBA team. The backs of the uniforms did not disappoint either, incorporating a unique design that featured a cable car, skewed upward, player number within, ascending toward five stars.
8. Golden State Warriors 2019 -20 San Francisco throwback classic jersey
A throwback to the Warriors’ original Bay Area jersey worn upon the team’s arrival to San Francisco from Philadelphia in 1962, the San Francisco Classic Edition jersey features the city’s namesake across the chest of the white jersey in a color palate of navy, gold and red.
